AchhiLife provides clinically-aligned psychological self-assessments and connects individuals with qualified mental health practitioners. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly and transparently. Please read this policy carefully. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve the Service. The types of information we collect include:
a. Information you provide to us
- Contact details such as your first name, last name, email address, and phone number when you request a callback, verify your identity, or contact a practitioner.
- Assessment responses — the answers you provide to psychological self-assessment questionnaires, which are used solely to generate your personal report.
- Communications — the content of any messages, support requests, or feedback you send to us.
- Practitioner and organisation account data — if you are a mental health practitioner or organisation, the registration and profile information you supply to operate your account.
b. Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. See Section 7 for details.
c. Information from third parties
If you choose to sign in with, or connect, a third-party service such as LinkedIn, we may receive information from that service in accordance with its policies and the permissions you grant. See Section 6 for details.
You can take most assessments as a guest without creating an account. We ask for personal contact details only when you choose to request a call from a practitioner or otherwise interact with our professional network.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Generate your personalised assessment report and, where you request it, facilitate a connection with a qualified practitioner;
- Verify your identity (for example, by sending a one-time password to your email) and secure your account;
- Respond to your enquiries, provide customer support, and send you service-related communications;
- Understand usage trends and improve the safety, functionality, and content of the Service;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.
We process your personal information only where we have a lawful basis to do so, including your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. 6. Third-Party Services and LinkedIn
The Service may integrate with third-party platforms, including LinkedIn, to enable features such as authentication (“Sign in with LinkedIn”), sharing, or professional networking functionality.
- When you connect your LinkedIn account, we may receive information you have authorised LinkedIn to share with us, such as your name, profile photo, email address, and public profile information.
- We use information obtained through LinkedIn solely to provide the features you have requested, such as creating or authenticating your account and personalising your experience.
- We handle all data received through LinkedIn’s APIs in accordance with this Privacy Policy, the LinkedIn API Terms of Use, and the LinkedIn Platform policies. We do not use LinkedIn data for any purpose that is inconsistent with those terms, and we do not transfer or sell LinkedIn data to third parties for advertising or resale.
- You can disconnect a LinkedIn connection at any time and may revoke AchhiLife’s access from within your LinkedIn account settings.
Your use of LinkedIn is also governed by LinkedIn’s own Privacy Policy and terms. We encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
